Her back is greenish brown with vertical dark lines. It is difficult to distinguish it from mackerel, it has greyish spots on the ventral and lateral part, which are mother-of-pearl in the mackerel, and it has a significantly larger eye than the mackerel.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px;\">It lives at depths of 300 meters, during the day it stays closer to the bottom, and at dusk it migrates to the surface. The mackerel is a predator that feeds on various marine animals, sardines, anchovies, shrimps, and other small fish.
